So…You Think Your Business Has a Good Reputation?
Every business owner knows that success is closely linked to your reputation. Word of mouth is rapidly being overtaken by the written word, especially online. Every business now has an online reputation, whether they like it or not.
So what are your customers saying about you?
In this short presentation you will learn:
- How your reputation can enhance or adversely affect your profits
- How to discover what your customers are saying about you
- How to encourage your customers to promote your business
- How to turn “Bad” reviews into more favourable comments
These simple to apply strategies will not only enhance your business’ reputation, they will also help to protect it when the “inevitable” bad review is posted online.
About Ian McClelland
Ian McClelland was born in Blackburn and grew up in Leicester, leaving school with “Ian must try harder” ringing in his ears. He joined the Royal Air Force and spent the next 17 years serving Queen and country, culminating in a three year tour of Cyprus. He was later made redundant and embarked upon a career in sales, mainly in the financial services sector and was again made redundant twice.
Following redundancy, Ian decided to take control of his own destiny and became a Driving Instructor and Driving Instructor Trainer. He met his partner, who he was training, moved to Portsmouth, and set up our their successful driving school – Ian then got made redundant again, this time by his partner!
He regrouped, moved back to South Wales and took a year out to study Internet marketing, developing over 50 affiliate and AdSense websites before Google embarked upon their Panda and Penguin updates. He quickly realised how difficult it must be for business owners to keep up with the rapid changes and developments in the online marketplace and hence, earlier this year, Mediateq was launched.
Mediateq is a provider of Training, Coaching and “Done for You” solution, specialising in Websites, Mobile Websites and Reputation & Review Management.
Ian’s claim to fame is, Sir Elton John once called him a “tosser” on a beach in Cannes. He is an avid supporter of Leicester City and–for his sins–a depressed England fan.
