Review and Photos – Cardiff Internet Marketing July 2012 event

Jul 17, 2012 at 8:14 am in Feedback by David Bartlett

Our Internet Marketing event in Cardiff is going from strength to strength. July’s event attracted forty people into the room, a mix of Internet marketing professionals and small businesses, with everyone keen to share their knowledge and network. Rhys Jones of Fan Pages Are Us gave an excellent presentation in which we learnt how to best use Facebook to make contact with new customers through our business page.

As well as sharing the photos with you, we want to get your feedback on the event:

  • How did we do?
  • Was the talk too technical or not technical enough?
  • What else do you want to tell us?

Please leave a comment in the box at the end of this post, or email me direct on

People said that they like the venue, so I’ve booked it for at least another couple of months. A couple of people also asked for the speaker to start earlier in the future, so we’re going to start the talk at 6:30pm from now on.

We have a Facebook Page ourselves, which we admittedly need to spend some effort updating to attract more ‘Likes’. As Rhys made clear last night, the last thing we should be doing is pleading you to ‘Like’ us. 🙂

Next month, James Koash will share with us “How the Internet has changed Marketing” and what we need to do about it. Our next event is on Monday 20 August 2012 so please pencil it into your diary now and I’ll follow up with the details shortly. So that we can send you details of this and other future events, please pop your email address in the box below.

Many thanks,

    Hi Prabhat,

No you’re not! Anyway, next month’s talk is on “How to Photoshop 10 years off your profile photo”…! Only joking!

Good to catch-up with you last night.

    Rgds, David
