WordPress for your Cardiff Business – May 2012 event
The free Cardiff Internet Marketing business networking event brings small businesses and Internet Marketing experts together. On 14 May 2012, Dom Stocqueler, founder of Welsh Icons, will talk about using WordPress for your Cardiff business.
WordPress for your Cardiff Business
Whether your business has a website or not, Dom Stocqueler argues that you should probably be using WordPress to run it. WordPress is the biggest and best ‘Content Management System’ (CMS). It is estimated that over 40% of all websites are now based on the WordPress platform. WordPress is a public domain (Free) software solution that helps you avoid getting bogged-down in technicalities and allows you to focus on creating high-quality content to attract and retain customers. Companies who deploy WordPress include The Wall Street Journal, Sony, Ford, WalesOnline, Samsung and CNN.
Dom will cover:
- What is WordPress and what can it do
- How to extend WordPress using Plugins
- How to customise WordPress to fit your business requirements
About Dom Stocqueler
